WT Productions, in partnership with GreenMan Theatre Troupe, presented its seventh Seasonal production, Seasonal Lights.
The production was written, produced, and directed by Debbi Dennison & Carl Zeitler. The cast featured Debbi Dennison, Danny Glenn, Kim Green, Tony Lage, Debbie Roberts, Kate Roberts, Laura Strojny, Julane Sullivan, Bruce Worthel, Carl Zeitler, and Troy & Roy.
WT Productions presented this new collection of six short plays that takes Christmas and the winter holidays and looks at them from different perspectives. Each play tells a different story and elements of the first five plays come together in the finale in the traditional "Seasonal" style. Seasonal Lights blends light comedy, dark comedy, and drama to put a unique spin on this traditional time of year.
Seasonal Lights begins a second volume of plays in the Seasonal series. Seasonal Ties, Seasonal Bows, Seasonal Wraps, Seasonal Tags, and Seasonal Bags all led up to the final play in volume one, Seasonal Gifts. The theme of that volume was reflected in each play as the titles all connected to a gift.
Seasonal Lights was a fundraiser for GreenMan Theatre Troupe, who hosted the production's run during the weekends of December 6-8 & 13-15, 2024. Friday and Saturday performances began at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees began at 2 p.m. GreenMan Theatre Troupe was located at First United Methodist Church of Elmhurst at 232 S. York in Elmhurst. Free parking was available. GreenMan Theatre Troupe is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Tickets were $25. Tickets could also be purchased on the date of the performance via walk-in audience members, if tickets are available, by cash or credit card. With this intimate venue, it was recommended to purchase your tickets in advance.
Seasonal Lights was Troy & Roy Recommended and appropriate for PG-13 audiences due to language and content.
